The G310 10-inch and G315 15-inch Operator InterfaceTerminals combine unique capabilitiesnormally expected from high-end units witha very affordable price. The G310/G315 is able tocommunicate with many different types ofhardware using high-speed RS232/422/485communications ports and Ethernet 10 BaseT/100 Base-TX communications. In addition,the G3 HMI features USB for fast downloads ofconfiguration files and access to trending and data logging. A CompactFlash socket isprovided so that Flash cards can be used tocollect your trending and data logginginformation as well as to store largerconfiguration files. In addition to accessing and controlling of external resources, theG3 HMI allows a user to easily view andenter information. Users can enter datathrough the touchscreen or front panel keypad. All G3 series HMIs include a web server, trending, data logging, and a built-in "C" language-like editor and compiler for writing your own control functions.
