Description

trodeksDYNE® offers full bridgetransducer quality strain gages for shearand torsional strain applications. Thesestrain gages can be used in transducerdesign for shear beam load cells, orthey can also be used for reactiontorque on a shaft.

SGT-2DD/350-SY** has 2 half bridgeson one carrier piece. Each half bridgehas a dual shear pattern, with oppositegrids and a common lead/solder pad.SGT-3/700-FB** has 4 independentshear strain gages, with opposite gridangles, on one carrier, with separate leads/pads (electrically independent).Below we show one wiring example;SGT-2DD/350-SY** used to measurea reaction torque on a shaft. The straingages have been numbered, and theleads/solder pads labeled.
