Description
Description
The DHT-20 is an advanced portable hardness tester, characterized by its high accuracy, wide measuringrange and simplicity of operation. It’s designed tomeasure the hardness of ordinary metals and is widelyused in quality and test and measurement laboratoriesin industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, machinery, heat treating, and electric power.
The DHT-20 uses the Leeb Hardness testingprocedure. To determine the target’s Leeb hardnessvalue, a parameter designated HL, is determined byusing the plungers rebound velocity and an algorithmin the DHT-20. These can be displayed in a variety ofunits. The operator’s manual includes a hardness tableof typical industrial materials as a reference guide.
