Description
The OME-PIO-D48U and OME-PEX-D48 provides 48TTL digital I/O lines and consistsof six 8-bit bi-directional ports. TheOME-PIO-D48U has one 24-bitdigital I/O port that is accessed viathe 37-pin D-Sub connector and asecond 24-bit digital I/O port that isaccessed via the 50-pin flat cableconnector. The 8-bit ports on eachconnector are named port A (PA),port B (PB) and port C (PC).
All ports are configured as inputsupon power-up or reset. The 50-pinheader can be connected to a
50-pin flat cable. The flat cable can beconnected to OME-ADP-37/PCI orOME-ADP-50/PCI adapter whichcan be fixed on the computerchassis. The OME-PIO-D48U can be installed in a3.3 V or 5 V PCI bus and supports true"Plug & Play". The OME-PEX-D48 can be installedin a PCI Express x 1 bus.
Software Development Kit
All boards are supplied with astandard software development kitfor Windows XP/Vista/7.The software development kitincludes DLL files for programmingin C,C++or other high levellanguages and OCX files for VisualBasic or Active X programming.LabView drivers are also included.
