Description

The trodeks® DP41 Series of digitalpanel meter/controllers has set theworld standard for accuracy andquality in industrial instrumentation.These meters can measure a broadspectrum of DC voltage and currentranges such as 0-100 mV, 0 to 5 Vdc, 0 to 10 Vdc, 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA and more as well as inputs from9 thermocouple types and frommost RTDs, pressure transducers,load cells, strain gages, andpotentiometers. Models include the DP41-W, a legal-for-trade, NTEPcertifiedstrain meter with enhancedfeatures, and the DP41-U, whichcovers all the input types.

Standard features include 6-digitdisplay; 5 front-panel pushbuttonkeys; 4 open-collector outputs; andalarm/control, BCD, and analogoutputs. Configurable analog outputranges are 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA,0 to 5 Vdc, and 0 to 10 Vdc.

On-board excitation allows thesemeters to power virtually any sensoror transmitter, and 4 setpoints givethe user numerous control/alarmpossibilities. Setpoint configurationsinclude active above or below;latching or non-latching; and highdeviation, low deviation, or banddeviation.

With the RS232/485 serialcommunications option, the usercan set the display parameters andread the current, max, and minvalues remotely. The DP40-R boardoption provides dual 7 Amechanical relays, activated bythe selected setpoint.
