trodeks® FTB700-S Series turbinemeters have a unique system ofprecisely-machined helical rotorsand high-quality jewel bearings.The rotor is the only moving part.Small magnets on the rotor hub areelectronically detected by a solidstate Hall-effect sensor outside thewetted area. The turbine rotor usesjournal-type sapphire and rubybearings for minimum friction andmaximum life. These bearings areideal for long life in water andwater-based fluids, and they haveexceptional low-flow characteristics.The entire rotor assembly (rotor,hubs, bearings, rotor strut) can beremoved from the meter as a singleunit without removing the meterfrom the pipe.
