The DRSP-I Series DC currentsignal splitters accept one 4 to20 mA current input and provide twooptically isolated 4 to 20 mA currentoutputs that are linearly related tothe 4 to 20 mA current input. Thisprovides an economical solutionwhen one signal must be sent to twodifferent devices.Typical applications includeisolation, output splitting, outputdevice separation and redundancy(i.e. to prevent failure of the entireloop if one device fails), or acombination of these.The input signal is filtered, amplified,split, and then passed through anopto-coupler to the output stages.Full 4-way isolation (input, output 1,output 2, power) make this moduleuseful for ground loop elimination,common mode signal rejection,andnoise pickup reduction.

Output Functional Test: Front buttons set each output to test level when pressed; Each test level potentiometer adjustable 0 to 100% of span
