APPLICATIONS
A high quality heater with a copper sheath for heatingMolds, Dies and other heat-transferringmetal parts. They are also excellent for air heatingapplications, and Immersion heatingwith flange, screw-plug, threadedfitting or other means of mounting.
ADVANTAGES
Elements with a ealed end and with both terminals atone end, can simplify wiringin many cases. Use slim elementsto concentrate heat into a confinedarea, taking up less space than aU-shaped element with terminalsat each end.
FEATURES
Construction is similar to thestandard trodekslux tubular design,except that both terminals of theembedded resistor wire are at oneend of the element. 25.4 cm (10")lead wires have silicone-impregnatedFiberglass sleeves and are attachedto the terminals inside a ceramicterminal bushing.
Sealed End for Immersion Heating on end opposite terminals is providedon all stock, single-end elements.When ordering non-stock elements,specify "sealed end" when used asan immersion heater.
Bending:Generally not recommendedfor single-end elements.
