Description
The OME-PIO-D24U provides 24 TTLdigital I/O lines. The OME-PIO-D24Uconsists of three 8-bit bi-directionalports. The 8-bit ports are namedport A (PA), port B (PB) and portC (PC). All ports are configured asinputs upon power-up or reset.
The OME-PIO-D56U provides 24-bitbi-directional digital I/O, 16-bitdigital inputs and 16-bit digitaloutputs. The 24-bit bi-directionaldigital I/O uses one 37-pin D-subconnector (CON3). The 16-bit digitalI/O uses two 20-pin headers (digitalinputs on CON2 and digital outputson CON1). The 20-pin digital I/Oheaders can be extended to the PCslot window by using the OME-ADP-20/PCI adaptor. The OME-PIO-D24Uhas one D-sub connector only. Itcan be installed in a 3.3 V or 5 V PCI busand supports true "Plug & Play."
Software Development Kit
All boards are supplied with astandard software development kitfor Windows XP/Vista/7. Thesoftware development kit includesdll files for programming in C, C++or other high- level languages andOCX files for Visual Basic or ActiveX programming. LabView driversare also included.
