Description

The OMG-COMM232-EX is a PCbus plug-in card based on the16550 FIFO buffered UART, whichis compatible with the standard8250. This dual channelasynchronous serial communicationcard utilizes the RS-232specification to provide RS-232communication capabilities to yourapplication. Selectable and sharableextended 'AT' interrupts increasethe OMG-COMM232-EX versatility.Signals are transmitted andreceived via two 9-pin sub-D male connectors. Bit characterlengths of 5, 6, 7 or 8, andodd, even or no parity areall available.The advanced COM drivers forWindows 95/98 and NT areincluded, which provide IRQsharing, advanced UART support,and Windows serial diagnostics.Windows 3.1x drivers are availablefor more than 4 COM ports.
