The OM-CP-STATE101A is one ofour newest data loggers. It is partof a new series of low cost, state-of-the-art data logging devices thathas taken the lead in offering themost advanced, low cost, batterypowered data loggers in theworld today.The OM-CP-STATE101A offers a10 year battery life, 4 Hz readingrate, a multiple start/stop function,ultra-high speed downloadcapability, 406,323 reading storagecapacity, optional memory wrap,battery life indicator, optionalpassword protection and more.
The OM-CP-STATE101A sensesinput transitions or contact closuresfrom external sources such astransducers and/or state initiatorsand records the time and input stateof the device when a transitionoccurs. Once activated the datalogger senses and records transitionor state changes at the input. Thedevice’s real-time clock ensures thatall data is time and date stamped.The storage medium is non-volatilesolid state memory, providingmaximum data security even if thebattery becomes discharged.The device can be started andstopped directly from your computerand its small size allows it to fit almost anywhere.
Data retrieval is simple. Simply plugit into an available USB port and ouruser-friendly software does the rest.The software converts a PCinto a real-time strip chart recorder.Data can be printed in graphical andtabular format or exported toa text or Microsoft Excel file.The OM-CP-STATE101A wasdesigned with our customers inmind. We offer free firmwareupgrades for the life of the productso that data loggers alreadydeployed in the field can grow withnew technological developments.Units do not need to be returned tothe factory for upgrades. The usercan do this automatically fromany PC.

Multiple Start/Stop Mode Activation:
To Start the Device:
Press and hold the pushbutton for 5 seconds, the green LED will flash during this time.
The device has started logging.
To Stop the Device:
Press and hold the pushbutton for 5 seconds, the red LED will flash for three seconds and then the green LED will flash for twoseconds. The device has stopped logging.
Real Time Recording: The device may be used with PC to monitorand record data in real-time
LED Functionality:
Green LED Blinks: 10 secondrate to indicate logging 15 secondrate to indicate delay start mode
Red LED Blinks:10 second rate to indicate low battery and/or full memory
Password Protection: An optional password may be programmed intothe device to restrict access to configuration options. Data may beread out without the password.
Engineering Units: Native measurement units can be scaledto display measurement units of another type such as on/off,open/closed and more.
