The OMB-DBK50 and the OMB-DBK51are eight-channel, isolated voltage-inputmodules that allow trodeks’sOMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Series andOMB-LOGBOOK data acquisitionsystems to isolate up to eight channels ofanalog input. Both the OMB-DBK50 andOMB-DBK51 modules offer 750 Visolation from channel-to-channel and1250 V isolation from channel-to-system.Up to 32 modules can beconnected to one trodeks’sOMB-DAQBOARD-2000 Series orOMB-LOGBOOK data acquisition for upto 256 isolated input channels.
Isolated Signal Connections
Each channel features a disconnectablescrew terminal block that providesaccess to the analog inputs.
Power
The OMB-DBK50 and OMB-DBK51include built-in DC/DC converters,allowing them to be operated from avariety of external power sources.The units can draw power from theirincluded AC adaptors; the optionalOMB-DBK30A rechargeable batterymodule; a car battery; or any +9 to +20Vdc source.
Input Amplifier
The OMB-DBK50’s input amplifiersprovide input ranges for 10 V, 100 V,and 300 V bipolar signals. TheOMB-DBK51’s input amplifiers provideinput ranges for 100 mV, 1 V, and 10 Vbipolar signals. These ranges aresoftware programmable, allowing you tochange ranges without having to accessinternal range-set jumpers or switches.The input amplifiers also provide azeroed input range, which allows you toincorporate auto-zero and temperaturedrift compensation in your dataacquisition applications.
Bandwidth Filter
The OMB-DBK50 and OMB-DBK51provide a selectable 3.5 Hz, low-passfilter on each channel. You can changethe corner frequency by plugging in adifferent standard resistor network. Inaddition, you can bypass the low-passfilter entirely, for a bandwidth of 20 kHz.
