AU-ZBG10002 encoders with the length sensor conversion kits are used for precise speed control in trodeks's manufacturing process for metal sheath thermocouple wire.

The ZB Series shaft encoders are generalduty industrial rotary pulse generators. TheAU-ZBG models are for single channel sensingfor counting, one directional measuring orspeed applications. The AU-ZBH modelsare for quadrature applications, allowing forcounting up and down along with speed anddirection measurements. A conversion bracketis available to easily convert this encoderinto a length measuring sensor. They can bedirect-coupled to a machine shaft by meansof a flexible-bellows, spring, or rubber sleevetype coupling that allows for axial and radialmisalignment. They can also be coupled withlight instrument timing-belts. Timing-beltdrives also allow convenient gear-up or geardownspeed ratio changes that can be usefulfor obtaining non-standard PPR rates.
