Description
REMOTE DISPLAYThe RD4/RD6 are 4 or 6 digit master/slavedisplays providing remote readout frominstruments such as programmablecontrollers, digital panel meters and otherinstruments with serial output. Twocommunication interfaces are supported inremote Display: RS232 and RS485 and canbe programmed through front panelbuttons. The RD4/RD6 remote display canbe mounted in a 1/8 DIN panel cutout, orsurface mounted with the included bale.The RD4 and RD6 features big bright21mm (.83") and 17.3 mm (.68")9-segment LED's that can be programmedto change color between Green, Amberand Red to indicate alarms. SerialConnections can be made to an RJ-11jack or screw terminals.
In the Slave mode, the RD4 and RD6 canbe used for displaying Alphanumericalcharacters from a computer. Power issupplied from 10 to 36Vdc power supply oror optional universal (100 - 240 Vac) power adapter.(Compatible Host device must featureserial RS232 or RS485 output)
