Description

FBGS Series non-fray fiberglasssleeving is a flexible, hightemperature primary or secondaryinsulation made from closely braided,continuous filament fiberglass whichhas been heat-cleaned to removeimpurities in the yarn. Acrylic resinbinders are applied for color codingand to further retard fraying and tohold sleeving round for cutting. Thisfiberglass insulation is unaffectedindefinitely through a temperaturerange from -60 to 316°C (-76 to601°F) and withstand up to 616°C(1141°F) for shorter periods. Colorswill be less vivid after exposure to150°C (302°F).

FBGS Series fiberglass sleeving isused for thermal and mechanicalprotection in consumer, commercialand industrial applications whereflexibility, abrasion resistance orinsulation is required andparticularly when temperatureextremes prohibit the use ofother materials.
