The HHSL-101 is a low-cost, compact, batterypoweredsound level meter capable of unattendedlogging (recording) of the decibel level of anenvironment for days, weeks or months. Data loggingcan be started or stopped by pushing a button on theunit, eliminating the need to bring a laptop to thejob site.
The HHSL-101 is ideal for monitoring environmentaland industrial noise as well as for measuring decibellevels during acoustical design, sound system setupsand OSHA compliance testing
After a data log has been captured and stored, it canbe uploaded as a .txt file to any PC running Windows®XP, Windows® 7 or Windows® 8 operating system afterplugging the HHSL-101 into one of the computer’sUSB ports. The HHSL-101’s internal flash memoryis large enough to store up to 32,000 data points.Software is included with the product—which is slightlylarger than a thumb drive—that can display a data logfile as a table or graph and/or export it to MicrosoftExcel®. Exporting to Excel is recommended forsophisticated trending and analysis of sound level dataand easy detection of unexpected excursions.
